Sizing details for Tapers
Designed for stretching/gauging these come in a few different styles and usually include 1 or 2 o-rings to help position.
With all styles the size/gauge is measured at the thickest point and therefore a 14mm taper would stretch up to 14mm.
When choosing a taper, don't just go for the size you're after but use a couple of smaller sizes first. This allows for easier use without a large end hanging out one side. As a general rule you'd only want to go up 1 - 2 sizes at a time/per taper.
Note: Most of our items are manufactured in the US and so are designed in Gauge/Inch sizes. We show the mm conversion for simplicity but some manufacturing variation can occur which shows up more in mm measurements.
